The Inspire Showcase<\/a> is a FREE virtual event that will give you a taste of the virtual experience for the upcoming 8th IWG World Conference, 14-17 November 2022.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

You need to be registered by Monday 11 July, 5pm (NZST) to access the event. Register now!<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The schedule below is in local time (NZST).<\/span><\/p>\n

8:00am – Virtual platform opens<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8:30am – Official Opening | Mihi Whakatau
\n<\/strong><\/span>A formal welcome led by Ng\u0101ti Wh\u0101tua \u014crakei. They are the iwi (tribe) partner for the current Secretariat – Women in Sport Aotearoa, Ng\u0101 W\u0101hine H\u0101kinakina o Aotearoa<\/span><\/p>\n

Your Kaiwhakataki (MC), \u00a0Sarah Cowley Ross will guide you through the Showcase.<\/span><\/p>\n

8:40am – Featured Speaker | M\u0101reikura
\n<\/strong><\/span>Dr Farah Palmer (NZ) – The power of being an indigenous woman<\/span><\/p>\n

8:50am – Featured Speaker | M\u0101reikura
\n<\/strong><\/span>Dr Diane Culver (CA) – Explore social learning principles<\/span><\/p>\n

9:00am – Featured Speaker | M\u0101reikura
\n<\/strong><\/span>Robyn Cockburn (NZ) – Co-designing a global conference and preview of the 8th IWG World Conference on Women & Sport<\/span><\/p>\n

9:10am – Collective Action Workshop | Awheawhe me korero tene
\n<\/strong><\/span>Join one of three workshops based on the three talks. These short and sharp workshops will have a lead facilitator to help participants dive deeper into the subject, and achieve learning and collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n

9:30am – Workshop Wrap Up
\n<\/strong><\/span>A summary of each workshop will be presented back by the lead facilitator.<\/span><\/p>\n

9:43am – Official closing | Mihi Whakamutunga
